An easy and delicious dessert that enlight a seasonal fruit like plum. Actually, any seasonal fruits could work with this recipe. The mix of Sun Coco and Roasted Almond Oil make the texture of the tort light and velvety. It is truly a delicacy!
Ingredients
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 Cup La Tourangelle Organic Sun Coco Oil
- 5 Tablespoon La Tourangelle Roasted Almond Oil
- 1 Cup all Purpose Flour, sifted
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 Cup Sliced or Slivered Almonds
- Salt to taste
- Garnish with powder sugar, optional
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a mixer, or by hand in a bowl, add both oils and eggs. Mix.
In a separate bowl, sift all dry ingredients.
Slowly add dry ingredients to wet, until emulsified.
Lightly butter and flour the baking pan. Add batter half way up the pan.
Clean and slice plums and lay on top of batter. Sprinkle almonds on top.
Put in heated oven for 30 minutes. Rotate half way through.
Take out and let cool. Garnish with powder sugar.
