Savory Sesame Granola
Makes 2½ cups

- 2 large egg whites, lightly beaten
1/4 cup La Tourangelle Toasted Sesame Oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon soy
- 1 teaspoon fennel seed
- Large pinch cayenne
- Pinch kosher salt
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
1/2 cup raw cashews, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup raw sesame seeds, black and/or white
- 1/2 cup raw pumpkin seeds
Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg whites, sesame oil, honey, soy, fennel seed, cayenne, and salt.
Add the oats, cashews, sesame seeds, and pumpkin seeds and toss to combine. Transfer mixture to a rimmed baking sheet and bake, stirring once, until golden and crisp, 25-30 minutes. Let cool completely before storing in an air-tight container.
