Extra Virgin Avocado Oil
Our deeply rich Extra Virgin Avocado Oil is pressed from the pulp of premium avocados for a luxurious texture and full avocado flavor. Use as a nutritious medium heat cooking oil, and drizzle over fish, vegetables, bowls, and smoothies. Also perfect as an everyday moisturizer for skin and hair. Extra Virgin grade means that the oil was only filtered after extraction from the avocado pulp. No overprocessing or refinement; this means that all the oil soluble natural nutrients found the avocado will be protected in the oil. Just like extra virgin olive oil, extra virgin avocado oil is pressed using a centrifuge from the avocado pulp. The extraction ratio is only 10%. It takes 10 lbs of avocados to make 1 lb of oil.
Avocado oil has similar fatty acid profile as Olive oil, is an excellent source of monounsaturated fat and contains an average of 7 grams of Omega 9 per serving.
